Molecular Genetics is a comprehensive genetics course for molecular genetics majors or biological sciences majors with a genetics focus. Students will integrate genetic, biochemical, and cell-biological data to interpret the normal function of a gene, interpret how mutations affect gene function, and interpret interactions between different genes. Topics include all aspects of transmission genetics and gene biology, including DNA replication, transcription and translation.
