    • 5.1: Seed Plants Lab
In this lab, you will observe samples of seed plants as well as their structures and determine the characteristics of each plant while explaining the functions of each part. After, you will be able to describe the characteristics of seed plants, explain the seed pattern alteration between generations, and distinguish between different types of fruits from different seed plants.
    • 5.2: Reading - Seed Plants
There are four phyla of gymnosperms. Gymnosperms have naked seeds. The seeds of angiosperms are contained within a fruit. We will examine conifers in some detail during this lab class but will use photographs on the Internet to study the other three divisions.
