In this volume, we take the opportunity to present material not typically found in traditional biochemistry textbooks. The content also supports the material presented in previous chapters. We include topics of high importance and relevance to students (climate change) and content that offers novel approaches to understanding life and its origins. We solicit new content ideas and submissions from interested people.
