The advantage of writing and using an e-book is that it can be updated and corrected on a daily basis (if one is so inclined). It is impossible to keep up with all that is new in the field of biochemistry. Instead of giving up, I have developed an alternative approach. I review three journals each week: Nature, Science, and Chemical and Engineering News. If I find especially relevant and exciting new information in these journals or references found in them, I add it to the appropriate sections of Biochemistry Online.

The date at the top of each chapter section indicates the last time is was corrected or updated. The date on the main page for the book reflects the date that any of the sections in the book was last updated.
