- Compare and contrast characteristics of fungal colonies vs. bacterial colonies.
- What characteristics of fungi account for their distinct type of growth and colors on an agar plate?
- Compare the class’s observations. What locations seemed to have more or less fungal colonies on the SDA plates? Which surfaces seemed to have more or less contamination on the TSA plates? Were there common looking colonies on the plates you observed?
